Your child may need help from an occupational therapist if they are having difficulty participating in their daily activities and routines. This looks different for different aged children. In infants you may see difficulty with visual tracking, grasping toys/objects or eating solid foods. With toddlers you may see difficulty with play skills, fine motor skills or self-feeding. With school-aged children you may see difficulty with drawing/writing skills, sensory processing issues or poor attention/emotional regulation. With older children you may see difficulty with executive functioning skills.
